Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide project management support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Location: This position is located on-site Monday-Friday at the Governments Client's site at the Washington Navy Yard
Minimum Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or business management discipline, or a related field are required.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with SharePoint, Dashboards
Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management
Preferred experience includes:
20+ years of management experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)
Programmatic, Administrative, Financial, Information Technology tasks/support experience
Post-graduate degree in a technical or management related area
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, performance goals, and stakeholder expectations.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve program management processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and cost control.
Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate program success, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decision-making.
Oversee program and project planning activities, including development and review of schedules, task plans, budget inputs, and execution strategies.
Ensure programs adhere to applicable policies, standards, and governance requirements; monitor compliance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Lead budget planning, coordination, and execution efforts, including reviewing submissions for accuracy and completeness, tracking execution, and recommending adjustments to support program objectives.
Direct risk management and internal control activities, including assessments, documentation, and preparation of required reporting to support organizational accountability.
Provide leadership in program reviews by delivering performance reporting, program health assessments, and actionable insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Drive stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.
Identify, develop, and implement best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen program delivery and organizational capability.
Oversee the development, maintenance, and distribution of program management tools, standards, and guidance to support consistent execution across initiatives.

The anticipated salary range for this position falls between $132,000.00 and $140,000.00 annually (USD).
