Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide cybersecurity support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.


Location: This position is located on-site Monday-Friday at the Governments Client's site at the Washington Navy Yard


Minimum Requirements:

  • A) a high school degree, or a GED, and more than twenty (20) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR B) a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area, OR C) a master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area.

  • Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Dashboards

  • Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred experience includes:

  • IT functions such as network administration, engineering, or cybersecurity.

  • Demonstrates ability to conduct and validate control assessments in accordance with DoD and DON guidelines, ensuring systems meet security requirements.

  • Oversees vulnerability scans, checklist completion, and risk analysis to support comprehensive system evaluations. Adepts at reviewing and compiling security artifacts and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance prior to submission for ATO decision.


Required certification includes:

  • Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages end-to-end Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including coordination of Security Authorization Packages and ATO execution planning.

  • Provide Cybersecurity/Information System Security Manager Support to the ACIO in coordination with Cybersecurity Working Group members.

  • This position requires Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) IT-1 Level background investigations by qualified personnel.

  • Provide analysis of all Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages.

  • Analyzing compliance with all DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA cybersecurity requirements, and FISMA. Providing IT system managers DoD RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process recommendations, guidance, and support, emphasizing NAVSEA Echelon III specific business rules.

  • Provide analysis of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service RMF packages prior to submission.

  • Tracking RMF A&A of IT systems across all mission areas.

  • Interfacing with managers for each IT system to assist maintaining accountability for FISMA compliance when applicable.

  • Coordinate communication with Cybersecurity Support Resource Desk for all RMF/Cyber questions.

  • Support personnel performing Plan of Action and Milestones, funding, specifications, and standards development, strategy, and maintenance.

  • Provide support to personnel performing compliance oversight, reports, and metrics.

  • Analyze technical products such as specifications and standards for technical adequacy and make recommendations.

  • Read, write, and make recommendations for development of technical products and taskings.

Salary determination at Titanium Cobra Solutions considers various factors, including geographical location, individual educational background, expertise, competencies, and experience level. The anticipated salary range for this position falls between $175,000.00 and $190,000.00 annually (USD). Please note that this estimate represents the typical salary range for this role and is just one facet of Titanium Cobra’s comprehensive compensation package for employees.
