Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide portfolio management support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Location: This position is located on-site Monday-Friday at the Governments Client's site at the Washington Navy Yard
Minimum Requirements:
A) a high school degree, or a GED, and three (3) years of relevant experience in business management or related functional area, OR B) a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, OR C) a master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with SharePoint, Dashboards
Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred experience includes:
Coordinates project activities to ensure the project is on schedule.
Provides administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, progress tracking, and documentation.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret Executive Orders, DoD, DoN, SECNAV and NAVSEA directives to provide guidance to personnel.
Ability to work under moderate supervision.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Support program and project planning efforts across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Monitor and evaluate program plans to ensure compliance with applicable policies, guidance, and best practices; identify key stakeholders for coordination and review.
Assist in the review and development of planning and execution documents, including task plans, budget submissions, schedules, program reviews, and acquisition-related materials.
Support budget planning, coordination, and execution activities, including reviewing submissions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program objectives; provide recommendations for improvements where needed.
Track budget execution and performance to ensure alignment with approved plans and timelines.
Assist in risk management and internal control activities, including assessments, documentation, and preparation of required reporting.
Support program reviews by contributing to performance tracking, program health assessments, and execution reporting.
Identify and share relevant program management standards, tools, and best practices to support team capability development.
Contribute to the development, refinement, and implementation of program management processes, tools, and documentation.

The anticipated salary range for this position falls between $110,000.00 and $115,000.00 annually (USD).
