Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide sharepoint development support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Location: This position is located on-site Monday-Friday at the Governments Client's site at the Washington Navy Yard
Minimum Requirements:
A) a high school degree, or a GED, and three (3) years of relevant experience in computer science or information technology or related functional area, OR B) a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, OR C) a master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with SharePoint, Dashboards
Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred experience includes:
Designs and implements application utilizing Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform suite (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint.
Designs and implements custom applications leveraging PowerApps foundational technologies including connectors, forms, and flows.
Thorough understanding of permission groups and how/where they should be utilized: M365, SharePoint, Distribution, etc.
Microsoft SharePoint / Web Design / Security+ certification(s).
Understands data security, including row-level security and data sensitivity.
Creates report and building interactive dashboard.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide NAVSEA SPO Site Collection administration for all appropriate site collections. Support shall be provided at a level equivalent to Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert SharePoint certification.
Managing overall operation of the Site Collection and all Group-level Site Collections.
Support the tracking of all relevant sites (including the program's Site Collection, all Group-level Site Collections, all Private Sites, and all Functional Sites) and provide data to determine acceptable use in accordance with NAVSEA CIO and policies and guidance.
Supporting Government assignments of primary administrative responsibilities of Group-level Private Sites to their respective designated Site Administrator (SAs).
Sharing administrative responsibility of Functional Sites with designated SAs.
Alerting the program to applicable policy and procedures to assist and ensure personnel compliance with them; maintaining configuration control; managing the status of permission management and performing data storage quota monitoring; managing all Group web pages by posting data and information (organizational charts, etc.) provided by Group Directors and Deputies; supporting management of certified SA administrative control of Group-level Private Sites or shared administrative control of Functional Sites.
Establishing and managing Functional Site and Group-level Private Site data storage allocation limits in accordance with policy.
Maintaining backups for all data on the Site Collection and Functional/Private Sites.
Providing expertise to develop custom application using Office 365 Microsoft Power Platform.
Designing and developing MS Power Platform-based, enterprise-level solutions including process automation, workflow, report and dashboard development.
Designing and implementing applications utilizing Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform suite (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI) and SharePoint.
Designing and implementing custom applications leveraging PowerApps foundational technologies including connectors, forms, and flows.
Possess thorough understanding of permission groups and how/where they should be utilized: M365, SharePoint, Distribution, etc.
Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information from several different sources; Microsoft SharePoint / Web Design / Security+ certification(s)
Understanding data security, including row-level security and data sensitivity
Preparing and exploring data; Modeling, organizing, and analyzing data
Creating reports and building interactive dashboards; and Conveying insights effectively
