Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide business operations support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Location: This position is located on-site Monday-Friday at the Governments Client's site at the Washington Navy Yard
Minimum Requirements:
A) a high school degree, or a GED, and more than twenty (20) years of relevant experience in operational support or related functional area, OR B) a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in operational support or related functional area, OR C) a master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience in operational support.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Experience with Power BI, Project Online, SharePoint, Dashboards
Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ablity to work under moderate supervision.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manages administrative functions of the assigned department.
Ensures compliance with Directorate policies and procedures, supervises assigned staff, and provides timely administrative support to the assigned department for various functions such as human resources, budget, accounting, databases, purchasing, and other assigned functions.
Distinguished from Administrative Assistant classes in the responsibility of managing various administrative functions and resources for a Directorate.
Provide structured support to enable efficient office operations, automation, and IT service delivery across the program.
Deliver comprehensive classified and unclassified IT and communications support, including NMCI, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, RDT&E, FlankSpeed, and Nautilus environments, spanning desktop, mobile, voice, and video systems.
Ensure consistent software configuration and system standardization across all supported environments.
Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues across all networks and platforms, coordinating with NMCI, Nautilus, and RDT&E service desks as needed.
Manage IT government-furnished equipment (GFE), including asset tracking, deployment, lifecycle management, configuration control, and database maintenance; support personnel onboarding/seating by validating IT requirements and coordinating logistics.
Deliver mission-essential hardware/software support and materials required for program operations.
Provide information management support, including maintenance, monitoring, and access control for shared drives and SharePoint environments across NIPRNET and SIPRNET.
Support incident response processes (e.g., electronic spillage) through timely reporting and coordination with security personnel.
Develop IT-related documentation, including briefs, policies, procedures, training materials, and executive communications.
Deliver IT training and provide responsive customer support for computer, wireless, and telecommunications issues.
Support implementation of CIO directives and drive continuous improvement in information flow and IT processes.
Coordinate with CIO staff and external service providers to resolve issues, support data calls, and improve operational efficiency.
Assist with IT budget planning, data collection, and reporting.
Administer SharePoint Online site collections, including operations, governance, access control, storage management, and backup oversight.
Track and manage site usage in alignment with CIO policies and acceptable use standards.
Support assignment and coordination of site administrators across functional and private sites.
Design and develop enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint.
Build workflows, dashboards, and applications to automate processes and support business operations.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring proper access control and data security.
Analyze and model data to support reporting, insights, and decision-making.
