Position Summary
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide Acquisition Management support for our program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government client site in San Diego, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.

An active clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree plus ten, or more, years of additional relevant work experience.
Programing and Budget Management Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Provides Planning Programming and Budgeting management assistance to the TacMobile APM.
Assists with and/or performs functional duties to: Coordinate, develop, integrate, and manage acquisition management activities that comply with a program's and/or project’s requirements.
Tracks and summarizes TacMobile Appropriated funds budget controls for O&MN, ROTEN, and OPN
Provides BFM and APM with Budget Control summaries
Develops TacMobile ROTEN and OPN Budget Exhibits aligned with Engineering Roadmap, Fielding Plans, and Master Schedule, for BFM team entry into R-DOCS and P-DOCS during DON (usually Jun), BES (OSD) (usually Aug) and PB (usually Dec/Jan) budget cycles
Prepares responses to both internal external budget data-calls (ad hoc)
Prepares financial and cost information, and prepares/develops POM briefs for PEO C41 review (usually Jul/Aug) and for presentation to OPNAV N98 via N980M Multi Mission (Maritime) shop (usually Oct)
Supports BFM team Spend Plan development, tracking alignment of Spend Plan to Engineering Roadmap and Master Schedule (usually 3Q of the Fiscal Year)
Supports TacMobile APM in programmatic brief development, for APOR, Program Review, Spend Plan, MPRF Commanders Conferences (usually Apr/Oct)
Develops or supports development of myriad other ad hoc briefs as requested by the APM (year-round)
Supports CARD development/update (annually)
Develops UFR submissions (annually, updated quarterly)
Prepares budget portion of ASN RDA quarterly RDAIS report (quarterly) and RDAIS ad hoc reports (usually aligned to BES and PB budget control receipt)
Required Skills: Working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
Demonstrated 10 years of experience providing acquisition management
Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data mining skills
Excellent oral and written skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties identified above independently.
May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Relevant Experience: Serve as an acquisition subject matter expert for Navy C4I systems, to include communications, network, and data link equipment.
Serve as an acquisition subject matter expert for Navy C4I systems, to include communications, network, and data link equipment.
Experience in acquisition planning, organizing and leading tasks and projects for the entire acquisition life cycle
Serve as acquisition management support responsible for assisting the TacMobile Program Manager in developing, establishing, implementing, and controlling contractual, financial, and technical aspects of a project/program through designated milestones/phases of the acquisition cycle
Apply budgetary and financial management principles and techniques to long-range planning of program objectives including the evaluation of contract support requirements to ensure consistent and effective task execution
