Position Summary
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide program management support for the program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed. This position is located in Washington, D.C.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience providing program management services within a program management office.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to maintain an active security clearance.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Active Secret Clearance Required:
An active clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Key Role:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide program management support for our team. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government client site, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and assist the Government with monitoring performance and progress against plans, baselines, and requirements.
Assist in the identification and resolution of issues impacting program/project cost, schedule, and performance.
Coordinate budget, costing, acquisition and contract input for program/project cost, schedule and performance estimates and draft work products.
Assist in program/project prioritization.
Assist in preparation and coordination of internal and external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and briefings to provide the Program Manager with a comprehensive view of the following:
Budget execution against current Spend Plan(s)
Quarterly work accomplishments and outstanding work
Upcoming quarter work efforts
Estimates at Completion
Challenges and Issues
Prepare Program/Project senior leadership for external Program management reviews.
Assist in Program Management briefing material creation and editing.
Consult with Program/Project subject matter experts (SMEs) regarding background information in support of work activity descriptions and impacts.
Create and update guidance related to Program Management processes, roles, and responsibilities, and business rules.
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and analysis, including the following:
Development of the IMS and the associated processes for validating task, resource, and schedule realism.
Maintain a fully resourced baseline IMS that accurately includes milestone dates, predecessor, and successor dependencies, and identifies critical path activities across multiple functional areas.
Liaison with functional groups and program office leaders to identify schedule risks and issues.
Update the IMS as directed and provide key risks and issues that have the potential to impact program/project success positively and negatively; assess the cause of delays or missed milestones; and identify the affected dependencies of missed milestones and the impact of delays or early completion of tasks.
Relevant Experience:
Coordinate, prepare, integrate, and modify scheduling activities in accordance with program/project requirements.
Develop and analyze schedules and reports as established in the program's and/or project's SMP.
Perform schedule update procedures, recovery plans and “what-if” schedules
Provide recommendations for programmatic and scheduling priorities.
Perform IMS critical path, schedule slack, and task predecessor/successor networking analyses; and
Provide risk management support to the Government resulting in the successful accomplishment of mission requirements.
Conduct risk planning.
Conduct risk analyses.
Develop mitigation plans.
Track/report progress.
Generate inputs in support of risk review boards.
Address data call responses and update inputs.
