Position Summary
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide Acquisition Management support for the program. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government facilities, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed. This position is located in Washington, D.C.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience providing acquisition management services within a program management office.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to maintain an active security clearance.
Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Active Secret Clearance Required:
An active clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Key Role:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team to provide Acquisition support for our team. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This position requires you to work on-site at the government client site, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide Defense Business System Program Management expertise to support, guide and advise Program Managers and the PEO-EIS Portfolio in successfully accomplishing sustainment program objectives via milestones and acquisition decision events.
Apply knowledge of DODI 5000 Series and Business Capability Lifecycle (BCL) to the development of program acquisition deliverables for the sustainment phase of the acquisition life cycle.
Research and analyze IT sustainment acquisition issues. Develop sound recommendations utilizing applicable laws and statutes, Department of Defense/Department of the Navy (DoD/DON) regulations and implementing directives for Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) Program documentation requirements for BCAC Programs I thru III, IT Service Management and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks, total ownership cost goals, and applicable IT industry standards.
Draft and finalize acquisition documentation including the Acquisition Strategy (AS) and plans as required, Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Acquisition Decision enter and exit criteria, and Problem Statements.
Draft and finalize program milestone/Authority to Proceed (ATP) schedule development to support, guide and advise PEO-EIS and Program Managers in successfully accomplishing sustainment program objectives via Milestones/ATPs/ Acquisition Decision events.

PEO-EIS Program Decision Reviews (PDR)
DoN Chief Information Officer Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA) submissions
DoN Gate Reviews / Portfolio Sufficiency Review
Periodic Program Management Reviews (PMR)
Investment Review Board (IRB)
Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT)/ Overarching Integrated Product Team (OIPT)
Milestones (MS)/ATP decision events with the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
Defense Acquisition Execution Summary (DAES)
Support and participate in acquisition, production, transition, and integration efforts conducted at working group meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPT) sessions, in-process reviews, and other meetings, prepare meeting materials and briefs, and summarize programmatic impacts.
Assist with preparing, reviewing, and delivering reports including but not limited to the following:
Quarterly Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development & Acquisition) Dashboard Reports
Monthly Review of Progress (MRP)
Budget Exhibits
Manpower Study Reports
Analyze and provide feedback to the Government on Congressional Reports and Acts of Congress for proposals/statutes that impact the PEO-EIS portfolio.
Support the execution of sustainment acquisition planning and efficiency initiatives related to PEO-EIS programs.
