The Risk Analyst will support our Navy Client in PMW 130. The Risk Analyst will support and develop oversight routines to ensure effective management of risk to the security of information in all data storage and processing areas, including vendor, physical, network, systems, and personnel handling environments. Requires demonstrable knowledge of security principles to a diverse range of risk scenarios to coordinate acceptable solutions between business needs, technology operations, and information security best practices. Works will other Technical Security personnel to review and interpret vendor due diligence materials, including audit reports and security risk assessment questionnaires. They will provide expertise and support in customer hosted environments to ensure control activities are designed and implemented appropriately to protect the security, confidentiality, privacy, integrity, and availability of data in compliance with organization policies and standards. Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.
2 years or more of experience with risk-security engineering and knowledge of DOD, risk and compliance strategies and tools.
Network + COMPTIA certified.
Ability to assess new technology, associated risks, and risk mitigations illustrated by related work experience
Experience preparing reports and presentations to both program/project and senior management and providing actionable recommendations to government clients and senior government officials.
Experience with the complete Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
The candidate must be a team player who has excellent writing and communication skills; able to Independently develop and communicate senior-level point papers, briefings, and correspondence, including pre-screening read-ahead and draft executive summaries as requested
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including using computers proficiently to effectively communicate complex procurement regulations, contract strategy, processes, and procedures
